These are the days when folks arrive early to help set up the convention and to socialize with each other before it gets busy. Sometimes tours fall on these days due to facility scheduling.Saturday (Day -2)

Arrival day is busy. AYA Board meeting, airplanes coming in, getting parked, transport to the hotel and finally, the Welcome Reception that evening.Monday (Day 0)

Convention Days (Tuesday - Friday)
Convention flies by. Flying activities, ground activities, seminars, tours, meals, weather, changes, social time, Ice Cream, and those nightly meeting usually by the pool or in the bar, for chatting about the day, catching up and relaxing.Tuesday (Day 1)

Post-Convention Days (Saturday - Sunday)
Post convention days are usually spent tearing down the event, picking up trash, cleaning the hangar and FBO, airport grounds, removing all the tie-downs, generally returning the airport to the pre-convention state (just a little cleaner). Any optional activites will be here (such as the Dayton Air Show we had this year), and the saddest day of all, Departure Day. It is a shame we cannot all live on the same airpark as neighbors.Saturday - Air Show! (Day 5)
